The adjustable racks are also very helpful and are super simple to operate.

I think the food in the Bosch would also go through your disposal; that's how most dishwashers work. The main thing is to use a food enzyme detergent like Electrasol. This will ensure that you won't have to rinse ANY food off of your dishes because the detergent will eat it (you actually should leave some food on for the detergent to work properly). Good thing electrasol is free at Rite-Aid pretty routinely. I'm not used to fancy adjusting racks, so it'll probably be more important on my next dishwasher than this one (after a few years of learning how to use adjusting racks) lol.

I am interested in the Food Disposal feature of the Maytag, which the Bosch says it doesn't have. If I didn't rinse the dishes first, what happens to the food in the Bosch, I wonder?Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14788311731697231165noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7663501148974917439.post-14746619100581370702011-06-06T16:32:25.468-04:002011-06-06T16:32:25.468-04:00This is the model of the Maytag. The Maytag is quieter by about 6 decibels but they will probably both be pretty quiet. Is the top rack angled on the the Bosch dishwasher so that you can fit large items on the bottom rack (I think that this is a crucial feature)? I would rather throw my large items into the bottom section of my dishwasher than have to hand wash them. The Maytag is a little cheaper than the Bosch but not by much. :)starbucksgirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16636163625257954244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7663501148974917439.post-39423483785706671502011-06-06T16:23:18.696-04:002011-06-06T16:23:18.696-04:00I like all of the Maytag dishwashers, however, the...I like all of the Maytag dishwashers, however, the link below shows the one with the most options (i.e. stainless interior, adjustable racks, quiet). It's important to find one that has an upper rack that can be lowered or raised; this is important especially if you have tall cups or large items that you want to fit on top. The lower rack is angled so that you can fit cookie sheets and large platters (which is awesome)! I loved my Maytag dishwashers. Take a look at this link and read the reviews and see what you think:

http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_02217403000P?prdNo=1&blockNo=1&blockType=G1starbucksgirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16636163625257954244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7663501148974917439.post-58319080720512384082011-06-06T10:25:02.512-04:002011-06-06T10:25:02.512-04:00Which Maytag? It is also very quiet.
3. It costs much less money.

Still, the Bosch is a good solid choice. You will be happy with it. :)starbucksgirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16636163625257954244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7663501148974917439.post-38207576974968353432011-06-04T15:49:37.607-04:002011-06-04T15:49:37.607-04:00I bought the Bosch SHE43P1.
