Kroger

Yep, I slacked off the Coupon/Deal shopping lately. Darn it. I always say I want to keep at it, but then time to go comes around and I'm just like, "Meh".

I have ran to CVS a couple of times to spend/roll my ECB's before they expired, but I generally end up losing money because I'm last minute, in a hurry, willy-nilly shopping.
Don't be a last minute, in a hurry, willy-nilly shopper.
Anyway I end up too disappointed to even care to post those deals, so.

Same with Walgreens. I see they've been having some pretty good sales, free things and whatnot, but I'm still just like, "Meh". I go if there's something I want on cheap, like eggs, or 99¢ storage/freezer bags, or...

This week they have InSync Probiotic $10.00, get $10.00 RR. My old man eats Probiotics, but he still has a stock of them so generally I wouldn't've went out of my way to get any of the "free" ones (we pay 7% tax), but they also had Brach's Easter Marshmallow Hide'n'Seek eggs and Whopper Robin Eggs on sale this week 2/$4.00, which is the cheapest I've seen them anywhere. Also, only 2 stores in our area even sell the Brach's Hide'n'Seek eggs, so they're not that easy to find around here. My sister that lives in Florida can't find any at all, even in her Walgreens stores, so I picked her up a few bags also. Since I was buying lots of Easter candy anyway, first I bought the Probiotic for $10.00 + .70 tax, then used the $10.00 RR on the bags of candy, which were $12.45 for 6 bags.

But today I did get a decent deal at Kroger on cereal and milk. (They may have had other things on sale, too, but I didn't even look. Meh.)

A couple of days ago I was standing in my kitchen looking at the like 6 boxes of cereal I had left and thought, "I need another cereal sale".
I have 2 teenage boys here who can eat nearly a box a day, so it doesn't last long around here.

Then low and behold, what pops up on my Fb wall today, but a cereal - and milk - deal at Kroger.

Selected cereals are on sale 3/$6.00, and you get a free gallon of milk when you buy 3 boxes of cereal.
That sale alone is a great deal, making each item $1.50 each. Cereal is regular $3.39 a box, and milk is $3.19, so about half price.

But, if you buy 3 boxes of Kellogg's cereal, you'll get a $2.00 OYNO catalina coupon, making your 3 boxes of cereal and gallon of milk $4.00, or $1.00 each. Sah-weeet!

I used the $2.00 OYNO coupon on my orders with Big G, Post, and Quaker cereals.

*I also used a $1/3 Kellogg's Cereal coupon from the 2/2 Red Plum.
There is also one in the 3/2 Red Plum, but I didn't have that insert, and a printable at Kellogg's Family Rewards, but I can't get coupons to print from that site for some reason.

Final total $43.00 + tax
for 24 boxes of cereal and 8 gals of milk
