Walgreens

Walgreens has what appears at first glance to be some good RR deals this week. I had about $30 worth of RRs expiring tomorrow I needed to roll, but I didn't want to be stuck with $10 RRs to have to try to use later. Because sure as I get a couple or a few $10 RRs, they'll have sales on $1.00 items again, and I'd end up having to waste some of my money on *fillers* (ie. junk I don't need) to be able to spend them.

As far as being able to spend the RRs at Publix on groceries...these aren't free coupons I got out of the newspaper or off a tearpad at the grocery store. I paid out money at some point to have gotten these RRs to start with. Therefore, if I spend a $10 RR at Publix, then I'm actually spending $10 real dollars. And why would I do that when I get everything I need at Publix for free or nearly using coupons and overage?

So, I sat down and worked out a plan with 8 transactions for rolling my old RRs, and ending up with smaller RRs at the end.

I did 5 of them today, got all my old RRs rolled, but then we had to leave to get my son to his PT appointment, so I'll have to get the other 3 when we go back on Wednesday.
