CVS

Had to go to the Mall today to get Kev some new shoes, so stopped in some CVS's while we were there. The 1st two CVS had either this and this, but not that, or that but not this and this. Finally at the 3rd CVS I found enough for 1 deal.
At the last CVS, they had enough for several deals, plus had a way better deal on the Pepsi/Dr. Pepper...9 for $20, instead of 6!
But dummy me forgot to print more $5/$20 coupons, so used my last one on the deal I needed to do to catch up. I plan to get up and go back up there in the morning, though.

After Wednesday shopping, I was down a total of $12.92 oop.

Transaction #1:
$7.99 Crave NX
$6.00 Soy Joy
$3.99 Oust
$3.99 Oust

Used:
-5.00/20.00 IP Q (No longer available)
-3.99 Oust BOGO Q

-6.00 ECB

Total: $0.48 + .98 tax = $1.46 oop
ECBs: $6.00 Oust, $6.00 SoyJoy, $8.00 Crave NX = $20.00
Final Total: +$6.04 profit

You did great! I've maxed out on the Soy Joy deal ( on both cards ) and I'm close to maxing out on the Oust.

I wish I could find a store that did the 9/$20 on the Pepsi deal. I might have to call around because I wanted to do this deal again. I found another link for the $5/$20 q. Let me know if you need it.

Welcome Quentella.

After tomorrow I will be maxed on the Oust, but should have one more SoyJoy deal left, which I am probably saving for week 1/31. I don't see anything really interesting for next week.

I was actually laughing when we parked and saw the big sign that said 9/$20. I said, they put their 6 on upside down - I wonder if I can get them to sell me 9 for $20? just kidding around.

Then as I went to check out there was a whole big stack of 12pack Dr. Peppers and a printed out sign on top said 9/$20. I asked the cashier if they were really 9 for $20? She said Yeah.

I have to admit, I am still finding it hard to beleive that can be right.

I have the $5/$20 coupon that expires tomorrow, the 23rd.
Do you have another one that goes longer than that?

Hi Melissa,

Not new here. I just haven't posted in awhile. I'm always lurking, but seldom post.

Yes, I was referring to the $5/$20 expiring tomorrow. I thought you meant that you didn't print enough q's before they took the original link down.

I'll definitely be doing the Pepsi deal again. I just received $5 ecb's in my e-mail for doing a CVS advisory panel survey. Someone posted about this on Southern Savers about 2 weeks ago. I don't if you know about it or not, but here's the link in case you don't. The survey was a little monotonous. But hey, it's free money!!

With the $5/$20, ecb's & the Coors Light rebate, this is going to be a sweet money maker for me.

Oops, sorry I didn't remember you from before. Don't feel bad, though, I can't remember my own kids names half the time, lol.

Thanks for the offer of the $5/$20...I learned my lesson about not saving coupons when the saving is good. I just had printed only enough for the deals I'd planned to do, not expecting to find a Big Deal.

Which turned out to not be a Big Deal at all. Turned out they would ring up (6) and get your $10 ECB, then ring up (3) and use your $10 ECB to pay for those. So, still the same deal as the other stores 6/$10 after ECB.

I did miss the Survey thing, so I will be doing that. Thanks!

I need to check IheartCVs or Slickdeals and see what others are saying, but when I got my receipts today, and I'm supposed to have reached my limit on the Oust and Crave, it's not saying Limit Reached. It's saying I need (1) more to get the Reward. Which usually means the limit hasn't been reached. So I don't know if they've reset or extended or what.

If you don't mind, could you post the Crave deal? Are there any q's for it? I must have missed that one. Thanks!

It's just, you pay $7.99 (plus tax) and get an $8.00 ECB. Mainly good for getting your total up to $20, or rolling expiring ECBs.

According to a post at Slickdeals, someone saw a sign saying it was a monthly deal, good until 1/31. (It also said Limit 1, though) Someone confirmed a limit of 2.

And apparently this week the Oust is showing up on the reciept as Glade, so I guess I didn't reach my Oust limit because it showed up as Glade instead. Strange.

Thanks for the info! I did a last minute run to use the rest of my $5/$20 q's, get more Pepsi and to try the Crave deal.

It was supposed to be a low oop trip, but the cashier missed a $5 ecb. Too bad I didn't notice until I had drove the 3 miles back home. Hopefully my run to Publix in the morning goes better.

Trip wasn't a total nightmare. I did manage to find the 120 ct. uncoated aspirin for $.99 thats free with the $1 on any pain reliever cvs q. I had been looking for this for 2 weeks. lol

I saw the Glade/Oust mistake too. I was going to get some q's off Ebay, but I'm sure they'll fix it before I get the q's.

Take care!

Ouch, $5 is alot to miss. Did he/she keep the $5 ECB? If so, you should call and tell them to look for it, and that you'll be back in to get it, or your refund one.

Good find on the aspirin you were looking for.

No, I went right back to the store after realizing the mistake. She pulled the q's from the register and we went over the receipts. She saw her mistake, said sorry and slid my ecb back to me.

Ah, that's good then.
