Rite Aid

This week at Rite Aid is good for getting $5.00 worth of stuff you want/need for (nearly) free.

The Stayfree Pads and Nivea Lip are free after BOGO sale and BOGO coupon from the 1/03 RP.
Also, the Got2B hair stylers are BOGO, at $6.49 here, and using (2) $3.00 Got2B Video Value coupons made them .49 for both.

By buying a combination of the items to get my total up around $15.00, I then shopped for $5.00 worth of items I wanted or needed...water, milk, sandwich baggies, jerky, root beer...then use the $5.00/$20.00 Video Values coupon to make my items (nearly) free.

*Then the Cashier asked me if I had my Rite Aid Card, and I had no idea what she was talking about, but she got me the Card and App and said I get 10% off of non-sale items, but the 1st Tuesday of the Month is Super Tuesday Savings and I get 20% off. The only thing I got that wasn't on sale was my milk, so it gave me .60 off of it.

(Not so great cost for couple boxes of Baggies, but the Kid liked the Jerky, so he was worth a treat for driving me around today.)

*I handed this Cashier my handy-dandy new Rite Aid Card, and she asked me if I was old enough to have that Card. LOL, I thought, Whaaaat? She thinks I'm not over 21? Wasn't thinking Senior Citizen-ry! LMAO
Now that I recall it, the last Cashier did mention something about it being Senior Citizen Day when explaining the discount. Daaang.
Anyway, this one said it was a Pharmacy card and wouldn't take off for regular store stuff (but it did take off for my milk, so I guess I have to lean towards figuring she don't know what she's talking about). But everything I bought this time was on sale, so no discount, so no way to learn her she was wrong.

Total Value of All Items: $132.41
Total Spent: $1.01 + 2.85 tax = $3.86 oop

I have one of those cards and form what was explained to me, it is for Rite Aid brand "health" items, like vitamins. Who knows. I've never actually used it. lol
